Personalized and Social

In the traditional classroom, every student needed to be on the same page at the same time. Now, teachers are trying to differentiate learning by personalizing it. But that’s complex work. And personalization can often be a lonely thing—just me, the learner, and my computer, moving forward alone because I am ahead of the other students, or behind them.

Scholar’s Learning Module is both personalized and social. It can be offered in two modes:

  • Teacher Push, where a teacher is orchestrating a group of students (a class, or part of a class, or several classes) to work at roughly the same pace. In this mode, the teacher initiates the next activity for the whole group.
  • Student Pull, where a learner can move on to the next activity when they are ready (feature coming soon).
